Herchel Smith Seminar – Informed Users and Average Consumers

Designs at QMIPRI, and apparently free food too. The event will “examine emerging European jurisprudence in designs” and includes Richard Wilding (Procter & Gamble), Martin Howe QC (8 New Square), and John Noble (British Brands Group).

The seminar is held at QMIPRI, 67-69 Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London (map), at 6pm for 6.30pm start, followed by drinks and a light supper. The seminar is free and open to the public, but you must register as places are very limited and go quickly.

Professor Rochelle Cooper Dreyfuss will present the 2008 Herchel Smith Lecture at Queen Mary IP Research Institute at New Connaught Rooms, Great Queen Street, WC2B 5DA. Prof. Dreyfuss will be discussing the ALI’s Project on Transnational Intellectual Property Disputes and Its Impact on Patent Litigation. This event is free, but registration is required. If you’ve registered for the IP Strategies conference, you are automatically registered for this event.

The inaugural annual conference of the Queen Mary Intellectual Property Research Institute.
